The city and /or developer beds to consider an option like the 9th and 9th area. Small local shops: trader Joes, coffee shops etc. That will be more attractive for south salt lake. Leave the Track/football field, tennis courts and build homes that fit in with the current homes. South salt lake city council has one chance to make sure the area is properly used. Changing the zoning for a group that cannot give straight answers or provide answers to the councils questions and change their minds every second shouldn't be granted the approval to build.
Hold off and maybe work with the county to use it for sports fields and build a bigger and better library for the city/area.
Don't make a decision that you might regret when you realize your kids or grandkids have no parks to play at.
