St. Patrick’s Day is about nothing if not beer, right? Well, on St. Paddy’s Day weekend—Saturday, March 16—Faustina (454 E. Broadway, FaustinaSLC.com) will team up with Epic Brewing Company’s brewmaster Kevin Crompton to host a brunch featuring Epic brews and Executive Chef Billy Sotelo’s special St. Patrick’s brunch menu, from noon to 2 p.m. Menu items and pairings include house-smoked maple salmon with Epic Brainless Raspberries; perogies with spinach, onion and cheddar cream sauce plus Epic Intermountain Wheat Beer; and short-rib hash with peppers, onions, GruyÃ¨re, sunny-side eggs and a grilled baguette paired with Epic Barley Wine. For dessert, there will be steel-cut Irish-oat brulee with dried berry & oat granola clusters and Epic Santa Cruz Brown Ale.
