I believe one place that gets overlooked each year for Best Coffee [Best of Utah, April 8, City Weekly] is Java Express on 3300 South and 3000 East. Maybe that’s because it’s a drive-thru coffee shop—which should be a new “Best of” category—but the coffee is always fresh and full of flavor. The owner is meticulous about the quality of his coffee (as well as other coffee-related drinks) and cleans his machines daily to ensure that the coffee does not taste dirty or old. Being a coffee snob, there is nothing worse than coffee from a dirty machine. Clean machines make all the difference in the world.
