IPA @ Bombay
Squatters is celebrating International IPA Day with a special dinner and launch of a limited-edition Squatters India Pale Ale at Bombay House (2731 Parleys Way, Salt Lake City, BombayHouse.com), on Thursday, Aug. 2, at 6:30 p.m. To toast one of craft beer’s most iconic styles, Bombay House owner and chef Daniel Shanthakumar will prepare an authentic Indian dinner that will be paired with Squatters traditional IPA, the popular double IPA Hop Rising, and a limited-release IPA brewed in celebration of IPA Day called Monsoon Monster. “I always learn something new when eating out with food enthusiast Peter Cole, founding partner of Squatters Pubs & Beers,” explains Jason Stock, Squatters Pub brewmaster. “So I was thrilled to spend three hours with Peter and Harjeet Singh, Bombay House manager, to pair our IPAs to the Bombay House’s extraordinary menu. Most amazing tandoori chicken I ever had, and it pairs beautifully with IPA.” The cost of $25 per person includes dinner, tax and gratuity; optional beer pairings is $15. Reserve your spot by calling 801-581-0222.
