Ichiban Sushi has served as one of Salt Lake’s locals favorite for sushi and Japanese cuisine for over 20 years.

Restaurant Details

Housed in a 19th century historic church, complete with original brick and mortar and choir loft converted tatami rooms, it’s understandable why some have dubbed Ichiban Sushi as “heavenly.” Start out with a mussel shooter or Kobe beef tataki before diving into nigiri, sashimi and sushi. The varieties of sushi rolls is extensive, but popular favorites include the Surf and Turf roll, Pink Power, X96 roll, Rainbow and the incendiary Death roll. Happy hour at Ichiban goes on until closing on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
