Universal Climate Justice: We Have No Environmental Problems, Only Moral Ones!

The world has been buzzing about climate change and global warming over the past couple of weeks, thanks to a world climate summit in Copenhagen, Denmark. On the heels of that summit, local environmentalists are gathering to discuss the moral responsibilities for people to address climate change in their own lives. To tackle those questions, the First Unitarian Church Environmenal Ministry program is inviting speakers such as Ed Firmage Jr. and activist Tim DeChristopher to a forum.

Avenues Yoga Artisan Bazaar
Saturday, Dec. 19
Avenues Yoga is rolling out its first annual artisan bazaar—an eclectic and one-of-a-kind art, clothing and jewelry sale. The evening´s bazaar will include artwork from the likes of Cat Palmer, Jamie Johnson and Leslie Thomas, clothes by meSheeky and Solissa and jewelry from Elizabeth Plumb and Kierra Jewelry. Door proceeds will support the House of Hope, Utah’s oldest nonprofit treatment provider for individuals and families struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
