Utah’s favorite antiquarian Ken Sanders not only has one hell of a rare book shop, he also has a small gallery tucked away in a corner where he plays host to many an exhibit, most leaning toward the peculiar side of the spectrum.

For instance, Sanders’ current exhibition, Greetings from Utah: Wish You Were Here, features postcards. But mind you, these are not just any postcards. What’s on display here is a small selection, 60 to be precise, of the store’s broad collection of images ranging from the old Saltair Resort to Brigham Young and his many wives—some worth hundreds of dollars.

The fact that these chosen few have been beautifully framed and hung on a wall make you take a second look at the vintage and iconic images staring back at you, allowing you to pay witness to some of Utah’s great historical and cultural moments and markers.

Greetings from Utah: Wish You Were Here @ Ken Sanders Rare Books, 268 S. 200 East, 801-521-3819, through Dec. 26, KenSandersBooks.com
