Golden Phoenix Restaurant in Salt Lake City serves up authentic Cantonese, Mandarin and Sichuan dishes in a friendly atmosphere. Wanda, the owner, and her staff are helpful in every way. Some of the dishes you don’t want to miss are the crab-claw appetizer, walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken, hot & sour soup, pepper chicken, eggplant hot pot, fresh steamed fish and the house special noodles. Wash it all down with a cold Tsingtao beer.
