The owners of Frisch, Salt Lake City locals Leigh and Rachel Kade, didn’t let their compassionate lifestyle hamper their passion for delicious food. Veteran vegetarians—and vegans, as of 2009—the Kades opened Frisch in spring 2012, and have since provided delicious food that’s free of animal products and sourced locally whenever possible. The restaurant offers unique salads and wraps for the health conscious, as well as items like mac & “cheeze” and nachos for those who are hankering for comfort foods. There are options for a variety of other dietary needs as well, including gluten-free.
