What Is Audioheads?

Information on the club and how to sign up

By Jamie Gadette

Audioheads is a club for serious music lovers! City Weekly wants you to get involved by attending and reviewing concerts, discussing your favorite albums or weighing in on the song of the day...

What is your most anticipated album of 2010?

Spring might be the official season of fresh starts, but January also presents us with a clean slate and chance to move forward. With that in mind, we're asking Audioheads members to submit their list of albums they're most excited to hear in 2010. This month alone marks new releases by Spoon, Beach House and Retribution Gospel Choir. Tell us which albums you're going to snatch up as soon as they hit streets and why. In return, you'll receive a discount on albums taken from City Weekly's 2009 year-end roundup. Titles include:

Grizzly Bear, Veckatimest
Animal Collective, Merriweather Post Pavilion
Dan Auerbach, Keep It Hid
Lightning Dust, Infinite Light
Mayer Hawthorne, A Strange Arrangement
The XX, The XX
Sunset Rubdown, Dragonslayer
Them Crooked Vultures, Them Crooked Vultures
Sonic Youth, The Eternal
Pink Mountaintops, Outside Love

Simply submit your list, then visit Graywhale University location (208 S. 1300 East) and tell the employees you're an Audioheads member. Once you've picked an album, send us a review to audioheads@cityweekly.net and we'll post it on our website.
