Fleming’s New Year
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
is extending its New Year’s celebration through Jan. 2. For three nights— Dec. 31 through Jan. 2—in addition to the regular Fleming’s menu, executive chef Russell Skall is offering two additional special items: Wagyu beef filet and cold-water Australian lobster tail ($75.95), and Maine lobster with snow crab claws, jumbo shrimp, black mussels and littleneck clams alongside a jumbo lump crab pastry with mornay sauce ($69.95). In addition, Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne (Yellow Label) will be flowing by the glass at Flemings. Flemings Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is located at 20 S. 400 West (in The Gateway). Lugano Anniversary
Lugano Restaurant
chef and owner Greg Neville will celebrate Lugano’s 10th anniversary in 2010, and he’s kicking off the anniversary year with a special 10 year anniversary Italian dinner series. The series begins on Jan. 20 with the return of winemaker Aldo Vacca from Produttori del Barbaresco and guest chef Maurizio Albarello of Antica La Torre in Chianti. It should be a very special evening. The cost of the sixcourse dinner is $59 per person with an optional wine pairing of $45 per person. Call 801-412-9994 for reservations.
