Feminists Want Your Cake

According to Stephanie Lauritzen’s column “Sink or Swim” [July 11, City Weekly], entitled militant feministas can run around half-naked or completely naked (since the world revolves around them and their special rights) while men and boys must exhibit complete temperance, self-discipline and mind their Ps and Qs at all times.

Yes, it’s always about them and their special rights to do whatever they want to do. It is now a constitutional right for them to have sex, and we get to pay for it all. Pregnancy is a natural consequence for having sex, yet they want their sex but don’t want to get pregnant. In other words, not only do they want to have their cake and eat it too, but they want the other person’s cake as well.

Today, in our permissive, morally confused/morally corrupt, self-centered, proud, haughty, irresponsible and undisciplined society, it is perfectly hunky-dory to do whatever you want to do as long as it does not hurt somebody else. It’s an if-it-feels-good type of mentality/morality—as though two consenting adults could never commit any wrongdoing without literally hurting somebody else. Lust and concupiscence openly parade around as love, license cleverly poses as liberty, and tolerance is conveniently disguised as acceptance and understanding. Corruption and perversion even call themselves good and get away with it all the time.

As I read Lauritzen’s column, how sad it was to realize that she and others who share her vain philosophies believe that a person’s worth and potential are somehow found outside themselves and their environment and not within themselves.

The saddest part is, militant feministas do not understand who they really are or have any self-respect. They believe that their internal self-worth, self-respect and potential come from putting their bodies on public display through their skimpy, immodest clothing.

In the final analysis, there is nothing attractive about a woman’s bony feet, bony knees, ugly bellybutton and porky, tattooed hips. It’s what they call women’s reproductive rights.
