In Arthur Miller’s provocative play, The Ride Down Mount Morgan , insurance agent and secret bigamist, Lyman Felt is hospitalized after a near-fatal car accident. When his two wives – the prim and proper Theo and the young, assertive Leah – show up at his bedside, Felt is confronted with his duplicity. In an attempt to justify his actions, Felt raises the question of whether monogamy is a natural and attainable state for human beings or if it is merely imposed on us by social convention.
This play will be shown in the Dumke Student Theatre in the Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory. Tickets are $10. For tickets, call 801-832-2457. For more information, visit www.westminstercollege.edu/campusevents.
