The last thing Minnesota hip-hop duo Atmosphere needs to fill a venue is a star-studded batch of opening acts, but that’s exactly what Slug and Ant have put together for this summer’s “The Family Vacation” tour. Atmosphere has a long history of packing venues in Salt Lake City (and everywhere else, for that matter), but this time around they’re bringing fell ace acts DJ Babu (of Dilated Peoples fame), Evidence, Blueprint and Prof to join the party. And Atmosphere will be touring with live musicians to abet Ant’s beats on stage, so expect one of the most explosive Atmosphere shows you’ve ever seen with this gig.
