Back after a brief pause to work on other projects, Utah’s hip-hop kingpins The Numbs are back with a brand-spanking-new CD, Soul Burn, on which the crew of DJ Shanty and rappers Gunnar McKell, Mark Dago and Rooster are joined by beat-master Linus Stubbs to create a must-listen among local album releases so far this year. They launched Soul Burn with a set at the Utah Arts Festival, and now they’re hosting a Utah County party. Apt and Chance Lewis are also on the bill, and DJs Chu and ScratchMo will spin as well.
