The Wilders, David Mayfield Parade

Talk about prolific: The Wilders have been together for 15 years, and their new, self-titled album is the band’s 10th collection of hot honky-tonk and alt-country. Strong songwriting delivered via fiddles, mandolins, dobros and banjos—along with traditional rock instruments—are the order of the day, but truly, seeing The Wilders in concert is the best way to hear their music. On their current tour, they’re co-headlining with David Mayfield Parade, Mayfield’s project when he’s not taking the stage to play as a hired gun for the likes of the Avett Brothers, Jessica Lea Mayfield or Cadillac Sky. Together, The Wilders and David Mayfield Parade should be a serious boot-scootin’ good time. The State Room, 638 S. State, 8 p.m., $14
