Trevor Hall

Take a good looking 24-year-old kid, give him a knack for crafting sticky-sweet pop tunes wit just a hint of reggae, and you can just imagine the dollar signs that light up in a record label exec’s eyes. Trevor Hall is about to release his second full-length, Everything Everytime Everywhere, and if all goes according to plan, he will soon be at least as big as one of his mentors and collaborators, Matisyahu, who performed on Hall’s debut. The new set sticks to the positive vibes of Hall’s first album—no surprise since Hall worships the likes of Ben Harper and Bob Marley. Catch him now at Club Sound, because this kid could be playing much bigger stages soon. Wednesday 8.10 @ Club Sound, 219 S. 600 West, 7 p.m., $10 advance/$13 day of show.
