Those Darlins

This sweet-sounding quartet is hitting critical mass with their latest release, Screws Get Loose. In just the past couple weeks, Rolling Stone has named Those Darlins a “band to watch,” Best Coast listed them as their own favorite band in the same mag, and much-adored critic Robert Christgau took to the NPR airwaves to sing their praises. The album is full of tasty garage rock abetted by soulful all-girl harmonies—a sweet and sour mix of grit and gloss. White Arrows and Motopony open.
