Lanky Southerner Scott Holt made a name for himself as a hotshot guitar man via a decade playing in Buddy Guy’s band. Now he’s establishing himself as a singer/songwriter worth watching with his new album, Kudzu, a collection that reflects his thoughts on both personal travails and big-picture political issues within its songs.
