The 83 rd Annual USA Volleyball Open National Championships will take place at Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center. Two additional events will take place in the weeks leading up to the USA Volleyball Open National Championships, the USA Volleyball Annual Meetings and Intermountain Volleyball's Junior National Girls’ Bid Qualifier, where over 1,000 youth volleyball players will compete for the right to represent their age group and the Intermountain Region in the 2012 Girls' Junior National Championships.
An estimated 14,000 total persons, including 440-plus teams, will arrive into the Salt Lake City area for the USA Volleyball Open National Championships, which are projected to have an anticipated $14-16 million economic impact on the city.
