When you need a big, booming, powerful dose of rock & roll, you should make Radio Moscow one of your go-to bands. The blues-rockin’ trio from Iowa and led by Parker Griggs are a throwback of sorts to the power-trio attacks of bands like Cream and Blue Cheer. The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach was impressed enough with the demo the Radio Moscow boys foisted on him after a gig to produce their self-titled debut in 2007. Pairing Radio Moscow with a couple of Utah’s best psych-rock crews in Spell Talk and Max Pain and the Groovies is an inspired idea, too. The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, 9 p.m., $10
