Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience

Rarely will you find me espousing the virtues of a tribute band in these pages, but Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience is a tribute of a different stripe. Led by the son of Led Zep’s drummer, the group recreates 20 classic cuts with energy and style that have garnered rave reviews across the country. More interesting, though, is the fact Jason Bonham teamed with the production company behind Rain: A Tribute to The Beatles—a hit Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas—to build a production that is as much a multi-media homage to Led Zeppelin as it is a concert. Besides the music, you get a stellar light show, archival film clips of the band and Bonham’s stories of life in and around the band. And if all the bells and whistles aren’t of interest, it’s hard to go wrong with hearing great tunes like “When the Levee Breaks” and “Kashmir” in a live setting. The Depot, 400 S.
