It’s not a bad thing to be the best-selling rock band in South Africa, but that wasn’t enough for the energetic quartet The Parlotones, who have spend the past 18 months playing more than 300 shows across 10 countries in an effort to show why, at home, they’ve sold more albums than Coldplay, The Killers and Oasis combined. In the States, they’re working the club circuit like any other up-and-coming band, happy to sell copies of their latest album, Stardust Galaxies, along the way.
