Cheryl Hughes, scholar and AP art history instructor at Alta High School, will hold a free lecture on women in the visual arts. Hughes holds Master's degrees in art history and English and has served in various capacities in developing curricula for the AP Art History. Her article, "Judy Chicago's Dinner Party: Inviting Women to the Table," appeared in the 2007-8 publication of Special Focus: Art of the Twentieth Century.
