The three members of Breathe Owl Breathe live what sounds like a pretty idyllic life in their rural Michigan cabin. Not only can they freely create new music without any urban annoyances (and WITH plenty of natural inspiration around them), but they can also try out any ol’ artistic thought that comes to mind, like the time they projected the film Last of the Mohicans onto a fresh field of snow just so they could watch from an upstairs window. Modern-day hippies? Sure. But they are also talented musicians, as evidenced by the tunes on their new Magic Central album. Rooftop Bandits open the show.
