Not only will the explosions in the summer sky mark the birthday of this state, but RSL also has a number of reasons to celebrate. There is the triumphant return of the speedy forward Robbie Findley after his successful run with the national team in South Africa. There is the trio of players—Kyle Beckerman, Javier Morales and Jamison Olave—who have just been named to the Major League Soccer All-Star First XI Team, which will bravely take on Manchester United on July 28. There is also the small detail that your RSL are the 2009 MLS Cup Champions, the first professional sports team to bring such honors home to Utah since 1971.
