Pondering the Imponderable: Metaphors of Science, Art and Religion

In collaboration with the HereAfterHere dance performance, the Main Library hosts a symposium to explore the afterlife from a variety of perspectives. Some topics include the use of metaphor in art and creativity, talking about the unknown, giving form to mystery and more. The talks are moderated by University of Utah English professor Mark Matheson and feature panel participants: Diane Musho Hamilton, a teacher of Zen and facilitator of Big Mind Big Heart, Jung Society founder Machiel Klerk, director/choreography of HereAfterHere Tandy Beal as well as speakers with scientific backgrounds.

Panels are held at the Main Public Library in the Fourth Floor Meeting Room.
