This concert will feature world premieres by the following composers: James Guymon, Dr. Igor Iachimciuc and Kagan Breitenbach. Guymon's work will feature two dungchen (large metal horns used in Buddhist ceremonies) that are monastery-used dungchen from Tibet, Noah Bells from India and a five foot tall copper artillery shell that will highlight the percussion section. This is a magical piece with lyrical solo piano, cello and flute over a mystical soundscape of instruments. You have likely never heard it like this before.
