DJ Green Lantern

James D’Agostino, aka DJ Green Lantern or The Evil Genius, is the quintessential hip-hop DJ. Very few artists in the hip-hop universe are as diversified as this Rochester, N.Y., native. For the most part, rap aficionados know him for his work in the mixtape realm—having produced rap classics like The Invasion mixtape series, as well as Nas’ controversial release, The Ni—er Tape. But D’Agostino is also an accomplished producer, crafting gems like Ludacris’ “Number One Spot” and the politically charged single “Bin Laden” for Immortal Technique. Oh, yeah, and if that weren’t enough, he’s also been a touring DJ for Jay-Z and Eminem. DJ Yonny, DJ Juggy and DJ Sayo are also on the bill. (Colin Wolf)
