What better band to play a slumber-party show—one with pajamas and pillows galore at a decorated, dreamy Velour—than one that performs music that I like to label slumberpop? Book on Tape Worm’s lush songs are soft, slow and literary. The theatrical tunes from 2012’s All The World’s a Stage, the band’s debut, will be perfect for tonight’s show, as will the brand-new, enthralling songs from Mideau—a project from Libbie Linton and Spencer Harrison—whose forthcoming 2013 album I anxiously await.
