Cesar Millan Dog Show

An ill-behaving dog is a hazard in any season. But during these cold winter months, when canines are spending more time indoors, dog lovers are often forced into closer contact with Fido’s less salubrious habits. What better time to learn techniques and training tips from one of America’s most celebrated dog trainers?

Cesar Millan—television’s Dog Whisperer—has such an immediate and intimate rapport with our furry friends it seems uncanny. Much of his skill has to do with a deep understanding of the way a dog’s brain works, and how the animal responds to human cues. The training Millan offers is much more about educating humans than punishing a dog’s bad behavior.

Unfortunately, audience members cannot bring their own problem pooches to Abravanel Hall—imagine the chaos!—but the scheduled two-hour program will equip humans with the skills they need to get a leash on their animal’s behavioral issues. You’ll be saying, “Good dog!” in no time. (Brandon Burt)
