It was a fairly crappy year for Justin Bieber: More than a year later, his “new” haircut still looks stupid; his YouTube high-water mark was outdone by “Gangnam Style”; there was a plot to murder him (reportedly because Bieber hasn’t replied to any of the numerous fan letters
New Mexico State Penitentiary inmate Dana Martin had sent to him) and Believe, as of December 2012, had only sold 1.1 million copies in the United States and didn’t garner any Grammy nominations. Is Bieber Fever really over? Poor Biebs. At least he can rest assured that several thousand teenage girls will sing along to “Call Me Maybe” tonight. Oh wait, that’s opener Carly Rae Jasper’s song. Crap. Sorry, guy—there’s no hope.
