Keith Barany

So, the parents are in town for Thanksgiving, and you desperately need to get out of the house. But you know their entertainment tastes are such that R-rated material just won’t do. Keith Barany just may be your weekend’s savior. The New York native has spent a comedy career of more than 20 years in high-profile gigs like writing for Seinfeld, Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Emmy Awards broadcast and Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher, and has received invitations to perform overseas for American troops on USO tours. His stand-up earned him recognition from the New York Post as “one of the wittiest comedians working today.” But he does it all clean, and is so dedicated to the idea that great stand-up can also be inoffensive that he launched his own entertainment operation—under the website—to represent comedians who work clean. That means you can feel comfortable bringing the whole clan out for the show, and work off that Thanksgiving dinner with some vigorous belly laughs. (Scott Renshaw)
