For years—as the name might indicate—X-Dance existed as one of the many satellitemini-festivals that popped up around Sundance Film Festival time in late January. But the action-sports film festival has grown to the point where it can stand on its own, and now takes up residence in Salt Lake City as locals’ thoughts begin turning to winter-sports adventures.
