Arcos Films: Switch

Many Americans want to switch gears from the process of burning coal and refining oil to the use of renewable resources like biofuel or solar power. Knowing that U.S. citizens long for energy independence, the film, Switch, aims to investigate the making behind such resources. In this intricate documentary, Dr. Scott Tinker, travels the world to the leading energy sites to answer many questions that are asked time and again. Dr. Tinker aims to answer…Is fracking polluting the water? Is nuclear power dangerous? Will the price of gas keep going up? Can renewable turn the U.S. into an energy independent country?

The film will be screened in the Gould Auditorium located at the University of Utah Campus.
