J Mascis never relents in bringing a sonic snarfitude to the plate. On Dinosaur Jr.’s latest disc, I Bet On Sky, he doesn’t stray too much from the alt-rock loudness that the Massachusetts band is known for—and that’s all right. Bring on that fuzzy, gain-filled guitar. Shearwater is the opening band not to miss this week.
