“We’re stoked to destroy America again; the last Saint Vitus U.S. headlining tour was in 1993,” says guitarist Dave Chandler. “This time, we’ll be playing [songs from] Lillie, as well as fan favorites and some old surprises.” The American doom-metal band from Los Angeles is legendary—one of the first bands in that genre, along with Pentagram, Witchfinder General, Trouble and Candlemass. They’ve recently dropped their eighth studio album, Lillie: F-65, and to sum it up in one word, it’s loud. Chandler concludes his press release statement with this cute little gem: “Leave your earplugs at home and come bleed with us.” WEEDEATER and Sourvein also play.
