The natural environment inspires writers to write, architects to draw and artists to create. In the traveling exhibition, “Sightlines,” public artists, Nancy Holt uses the natural wonders of earth as a medium, inspiration and subject. Holt primarily focuses on humanity’s interactions with the earth and its understanding of the spinning globe that holds life. The exhibit will showcase several artworks by Holt, which include several different mediums. Among the artistic genres are: sculptures, films, photography, artist books and concrete poetry.
