Often times, we disregard the scenic qualities of the neighborhoods we live in, but it only takes a fresh mind to remind us about them. Fresh minds like America’s youth. The Students of Granger High and Hawthorne elementary have investigated a five-block area near their schools and bring us the gallery "5 Blocks" presented by the UMFA. Each students artwork represents how we, as humans, shape the spaces we call home and how those spaces shape our everyday lives.
