Mandy Patinkin: Dress Casual

Over the course of a professional career spanning more than 30 years, Mandy Patinkin has taken on identities that make him recognizable to a broad range of fans: the Tony Award-winning stage performer who starred as Che in the original Broadway production of Evita; the screen actor whose character in The Princess Bride taught a generation what would happen to the man who killed Inigo Montoya's father; the television star of Chicago Hope.

But strip away all celebrated roles and Patinkin is simply an extraordinary vocalist whose soaring tenor can bring life to some of the most celebrated tunes in the Broadway songbook. In a performance with his frequent accompanist, pianist Paul Ford, Patinkin will spend an intimate 90 minutes singing the classic songs of Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim and Rodgers & Hammerstein. Don't miss an amazing program of great melodies from a true master performer. (Scott Renshaw)
