It won't be long until the Philadelphia outfit stops opening for Grace Potter, Heartless Bastards, Dr. Dog and so on, and headlines their own foot-stomping gigs. With Hoots & Hellmouth, foot-stomping isn't a cliché--two members stand on a mic-ed wooden stomp box to spice up the explosive, yet vulnerable, soulful Americana tunes of old and off of their new Salt LP.
