Featuring elements of blues, rock, jam and pop, this New England outfit has a pliable sound. But it’s their stage presence that’s unmatched. Donning high heels, a short skirt and a Flying V guitar, bandleader Grace Potter is stunning onstage. Her bassy voicebox blows most divas out of the water in concert, from several Led Zeppelin-esque tunes off the 2012 release The Lion, The Beast, The Beat to a bevy of covers (they played Wilco’s “Muzzle of Bees,” Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit” and Otis Redding’s “Pain in My Heart” at Gallivan Center in summer 2011). ZZ Ward starts the show.
