This year will feature Midvale Middle School student McKay Jessop who wrote to the Utah State Office of Education Social Studies Department requesting that labor history be added to the curriculum.
The convention will also have keynotes by Major General Peter Cooke, a candidate for Utah Governor, Salt Lake Tribune columnist Pat Bagley and Congressman Jim Matheson.
