Celebrate Independence Day with one of the biggest celebrations in the Salt Lake Valley. The Day starts at 7 a.m. with the 5K Fun Run, and the sanctioned 10K Sandy Classic. At 10 a.m. the Youth Arts Festival begins with rides, games, and a variety of food and vendor booths. The Sandy Idol competition is at 11 a.m., and the traditional Fourth of July parade begins at 6 p.m. This year's theme is "Free to Dream. At 8 p.m. the evening concert begins on the main stage with Jesse Funk followed by the Salamanders. At 10 p.m. watch the annual grand Sky Concert fireworks.
