Sure, Cinco de Mayo is the Mexican celebration of the country’s victory over France; Ibiza is an underground dance epicenter in Spain; and Hector Romero is a Brooklyn, N.Y.-based house and techno DJ, but anyone who goes to this “full-body workout” dance party isn’t looking for inconsistencies. They are helping the local DJ collective/event promoters, I Love Ibiza, celebrate 10 glorious years of sweaty fun in Salt Lake City, while also getting down and dirty to Romero’s soulful Latin rhythms and tech-infused, trance-inducing beats.
