Utah Pride is hosting the 2012 Queer Prom on Saturday, April 21 st from 8pm to midnight at the Salt Lake City Public Library. This event gives queer youth and young allies from across the state of Utah to come together and celebrate themselves and those they love.

This year the theme of Queer Prom is Indestructible. This is a celebration of the survival, continuing love and general resilience of queer youth. It is not a promise that things will get better, but a humble affirmation that we are capable of healing and coming back stronger than we were before.
Tickets are available in advance at the Utah Pride Center, both in the administrative offices and in the Youth Center, for $5. Tickets will also be available at the door for $10.
