Venues participating include The Joint, Rockwood Art Studios, Sugar House Coffee, 21st Studios, Artistic Framing Company, Awakening Heart, Adjusting Sails Dirtworks, Sugar Space, Local Colors and more. The walk will also feature an evening fashion show and dancing at Karamba, at 1051 E. 2100 South. The walk aims to showcase local venues and merchants, part of the “re-branding” of Sugar House, according to James Adelman, one of the organizers.
The evening includes two Saturday screenings of the documentary Love Free Or Die—about the first openly gay Episcopal bishop—which was awarded a Special Jury Prize at Sundance this year. Watch the film at 9 and 11 p.m. at Sugar Space, at 616 E. Wilmington Ave. (Brian Staker)
