White Rabbit

This Brooklyn-by-way-of-Columbus, Mo., band makes a solid first impression. After relocating to New York City, the band was promptly signed to a record deal to drop their debut—something that happens to about this many people: zero. Then, at SXSW, TBD Records boss Phil Costello chanced upon White Rabbits’ intricately layered indie rock and promptly signed them; the band has released two albums on TBD. If you need to get acquainted, watch the first video off White Rabbits’ latest album, Milk Famous. “Heavy Metal” is R&B smooth and filled with bouncy bass and Stephen Patterson’s patented high-pitched falsetto, but it doesn’t compromise the catchy fervency of singles past. Gull will open.
