After 20 years, jam band moe. is still going strong; its veteran status in the alt-rock and psychedelic music scenes only gaining them more support from a cult-like following of so-called moe.rons. Though they still classify themselves as a rock band, moe. is known for its improvisational style, and take pride in a sincere musical connection with the audience. Not many bands can boast such a long streak of success, part of which may be attributed to a consistent lineup: Out of five band members, Rob Derhak, Chuck Garvey and Al Schnier have been there from the beginning.
