For the past three years the Museum of Art has collaborated with world renowned Islamic art scholar Dr. Sabiha Al Khemir to bring forth Beauty and Belief: Crossing Bridges with the Arts of Islamic Culture. Known for her commitment to achieving international understanding through respect for cultures and appreciation of diverse forms of beauty, Project Director Dr. Al Khemir brings a unique opportunity for visitors to experience the stunning beauty and powerful message of the art of the Islamic world. The exhibition features over 250 objects from both domestic and international collections and will travel to three other venues across the United States.
